Čez vikend je bil NOT. Huh, še en. Že 33. ali nekaj takega. Mislim, da je bil moj prvi tam nekje 1997.-tega. Matr, tudi jaz jih brojim že počasi. Romčev je bil pa 33., od tega jih je trasiral ali pomagal strasirati 30., če sem prav razumel. Ajme!

Jup, it's true, I tell you.

Paco je bil zakon. Zahvala gre meni in očetu; meni za to, ker sem pomuval in zmotiviral + šel po karte, očetu, ker jih je plačal. Paco je virtuoz in flamenco je zakon. Vsaj tako, kot ga on špila .. no, ja - pa tudi na splošno.

  Z Orlandom je pa takole: dejansko, eden izmed ploskačev (dva ploskača sta bila pevca, tretji pa .. ta-daaa!)- plesalec. To se je videlo že od vsega začetke, ker je bil slok, malce lepše oblečen in predvsem, ker se je držal najbolj pokončno od vseh ... jaiks! No, pa petke so ga tudi malce izdale;)
Zakon - je pa res zgledal kot Orlando Bloom.

  I'm having a quarrel with my heart at the moment. He wants to feel sorrow and mourn on ... I say move on ... and, at times, I encourage him. (I'm a libra.) Darn it.

Meet the Robinsons and 86 years of Disney's Animation

This past weekend I had a trip to the future - I've Met the Robinsons. And boy, are they great;) Gimminie Cricket!
  Apparently Walt and Roy Disney, brothers, set up a small studio on October 16th, 1923. As you probably know ... it has grown a bit since.
  Disney left us with magic that some of us have had a chance to get to know and grow up with. None of this modern, fast-motion, square robot mumbo-jumbo. Sure, the Ice Ages are OK, Shrek rules and et cetera. But if you compare even the latest Disney cartoon motion pictures and the olde ones (Lion King, Jungle Book, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, ...) you will see they had much more sense for background (probably the pressure on finishing the cartoon faster and faster nowadays is bigger, back then they just wanted to create the best they could so they really worked on that.   Well, anyways, you can't top the top of the top, Disney's Classics are and will always be classics. Such as Aladdin. Absolutely amazing - saw it again after several years just Saturday past.

U2 360° tour Zagreb, 10. 8. 2009

  In case I've forgot to mention ... I've been to the U2 concert!
Been there, done that (pissed on a wall, actually) and HAVE got a T-shirt! And it was amazing (the concert, not the piss)! The stage was round (see below)... with a huge big screen - in search of a better word - "TV" all around, Bono, the Edge, and the other one (Adam Clayton) were walking above our heads, around us - for we (my friend and I) had the privilege to be in the red district. Sorry - it was called the red zone. (Actually, we came to the site so early, they just let us in and we got stamped ... and could go out to get beer and so forth and so on. (AND we pissed against the wall, when there was a HUGE line ... for the 40 toilettes of both genders.)

Zlet Zveze tabornikov Slovenije 2009 v Pomurju je v polnem zagonu!
V bistvu je v svojih vzdihljajih, ampak gre samo še na gor! Mulci se imajo super, vodniki takisto ('malce' je sivih las v zvezi z naročanjem in prejemanjem hrane ter urami, določenimi za spanje, but all in all, it's GREAT!). Priložena slika je ta od Bubija in Mojce in še ene punce, katere ne vem imena. Fotka sicer ni iz Zleta 2009 (prejšnji je bil leta 2002), je pa podobno noro super fajn!
ZDej pa na U2-je! (In seveda nazaj na Zlet za še en, zadnji dan! Woo-hooo!;))

This land (Disney's: THE LION KING)

Say what you will, BUT (cute one, too:) Lion King is probably the BEST motion picture cartoon ever made by Walt Disney (studios), in their golden era, which can, thus, easily surpass the cartoons of today, made by Dreamworks, ...
Ok, ok .. I admit - let's put the words "in its zanre", because there's the Ice Age, Shrek, Madagascar, Happy Feet and things like that.
So - Lion King is THE best in the 'olden ways' of how they made them.

It has been a phenomenon, though - never has a cartoon amassed so much audience through the years, I'd say. But it was exceptionally successful, as well: last time I saw the data, (it was well over 4 years ago), it was OVER 400 bilion us dollars worldwide, which is and was unimaginable for the time. (That is, for a cartoon to go as far.)

So, I give it to thee: the last scene in the picture, with music from Hans Zimmer (click here for official discography), his web page here. HE, for yee of little faith, has made MUSIC. And also quite good one, I can add. Almost in the league of Great John Williams, whom my friend and I discovered a couple of years ago (say roughly ten).

Zimmer has written, or has been a music producer for, among others, films like: Pirates of the Carribbean, Batman: The Dark Night, As good as it gets (Jack Nicholson!!), Gladiator (Russel Crowe), Perfect Storm, Thin Red Line, Broken Arrow (Kurt Russel?), The Rock (Sean Conrey, etc.), Twister, Cool Runnings, Thelma&Louise, Bird on a wire (with Mel Gibson), Rain Man (Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman).
Getting the idea, right?
Well, not quite, see. Latter of his creations include: The Kung-fu Panda, Angels and Demons (not yet out), Madagascar2, Iron Man, Simpsons the Movie, The DaVinci Code, Madagascar, Batman Begins, Shark Tale, King Arthur, ...
I could stop, couldn't I? Well, I will, since I think you get the picture (ironically) of what he's done for the movie world. If we seem to not quite see eye-to-eye, I suggest you take ... Gladiator .. and see it without music. Without THE MUSIC, wherever it is in the movie! It's like ... pathetic. Every movie is. That's why, ..., every movie HAS. Music. Ah, so poetical right now;)
So yeah - here it is, have fun, kids;)

It was amazing - see the interview, to see what I'm talking about. See, I wanted, upon many years of deep thought and sarcasm (no, wait), of meditation (that's better) and contemplation, compilation (you're getting all reggae on me;) ... you get the gist.
SOooo, I went to the you-tube (dooooh) and typed in the most straight-forward question - How to solve the Rubik 's Cube? (Faster. Finger tricks.)

From then on, I saw another interview, on CNN, and it's also about political views of Dan Brown - apparently quite enthousiastic about politics right now .. who wouldn't be? See, it's his first. Yes, ladies and gents - the 17 year-old Dan Brown is another internet star, made so by the 30.000 views (at the end of the first day it was on the net! So go figure.) of his tutorial video I'm posting bellow on how to solve the Cube. So: part 1, part 2 and the reply to the questions (I figuered it out before that).

Salsa! ¿Quieres baillar conmigo?

Salsa! Ah, que bonito! (?) Salsa Caliente, Buba, Soy Cubano (in mednarodna), Palestra, Salsoteca, Salsa Libre Academia, ..., to so šole in stili, ki so vzniknili po izbruhu salse in swinga (+ swingerjev;) iz subkulturnih krogov, iz underground scene bara Lunapark in še pred tem Starega Gleja pri Poljanski cesti v LJ ... Tam se je vse začelo in tukaj lahko preberete (scroll down), kaj Elder Sanchez polaga na srce slovensklim plesalcem in salsa klubom. Zelo prav ima glede lastnikov klubov in "noč je mlada" - treba jim je pustiti več denarja ... Žal, a prav.
Heck! They even made it a festival ... not just one, mind yeh. There are now salsa festivals all over the place (EU) , all through the year. I haven't been to neither one (yet) but perhaps, with a discovery of a potential perfect dancing partner (watch Shall we Dance with Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon and you'll know what I mean) perhaps that is on the verge of happening;)

Salsa salsa salsa. You just have to love the afro-american, the cuban, the LATIN dance type of songs. And I don't mean reaggaeton - don't like it that much. It shows to much to fast, it's ... sorry, but, too dirty for me. I like the suspense, the openess, the freedom of salsa, the goodheart, the sun-filled glass of mujito e caipirinha ... mhhh ;)

Aja, pa: očitno je v soboto, 9. 8. 2008 zvečer, ob 20.30 Cubismo v portoroškem Avditoriju. I'm taking my mom out for dancing

Aha in tukajle je Rok, ena izmed fac, ki ga poznam že .. uh, 17 let (s presledki). Približno istočasno sva začela plesati, morda on še celo malo prej (ST in LA), nato sem pa jaz nehal (očitno on tudi), potem pa se je začel salsistično udejstvovati. Svaka čast, Rok!
